A perfect blend of good performance and good fuel efficiency.

Toyota’s success in the automobile industry can be attributed to the practicality of their car designs, durability on the road, and how they make their products economical, making them a perfect fit for customers of all classes.

Naming the most successful brands in the automobile industry? Toyota will surely stand with its head tall. It has consistently met the immediate needs of customers across all spheres.

Toyota Corolla Cross is yet another novel product of Toyota. With its SUV stance and size, and seamless integration with the strength and doggedness of Corolla. This product has easily made its way into the heart of many consumers since its debut in 2021. They have found the perfect way of providing affordable cars to their customers without compromising on the quality of what they deliver.

It's a successful attempt to tumefy the size of the regular Corolla and make an SUV out of it.

A perfect blend of size, fuel efficiency, and power.

The Japanese car-maker Toyota started the production of the RAV4 in 1994. Toyota’s ground-breaking SUV reached 10 million sales and maintained relevance for the space of 26 years. The RAV4 created the compact SUV market and has been an international bestseller since its debut. Built on top of the Corolla platform, the purpose of creating the RAV4 was not defeated. It retained its strength across generations.

However, it failed to retain something over generations - its tie with Corolla. As generations come after generations, their ties seem to fade away with no connection between these two.

An extensive comparison of the exterior size of the Toyota RAV4 and cross: the Corolla Cross unlike the RAV4 doesn’t have as much space. The difference in size is not so much, so it's a factor most might not consider before choosing which to go for.

The Cross has a wheelbase of 103.9 inches and measures up to 175.6 inches in length, 71.9 inches in width, and 64.8 inches in height. The Toyota RAV4, however, has a wheelbase of 105.9 in and measures up to 181.5 inches in length, 73.4 inches in width, and a perfect figure of 70.0 inches in height. These numbers show the cross is a more compact crossover than the RAV4.

The Cross wears the familiar Corolla name, but with its SUV shape and higher ride height, it is more than just a typical compact hatchback.

Its increased height makes it a perfect sport-utility vehicle for use on maintained roads, whether paved, gravel, or dirt. As seen in most modern vehicles, the Toyota Corolla Cross is built on an unibody platform, having the chassis and body manufactured as one single unit thus making it easier to drive and lightweight compared to a body-on-frame design.

The Corolla Cross come as no surprise to drivers familiar with the Corolla sedan. Almost all features look and feel the same as the four-door model, such as the dashboard layout and interior materials. In contrast, the larger dimensions of the Corolla Cross create more room for passengers–especially in the back–as well as additional cargo space. Although the lower trim levels have much more basic features, the XLE model features faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a flip-down center armrest for rear-seat passengers. It provides a passenger volume of about 89 ft3, Cargo Volume of 24 ft3, and 3384 lb of Curb Weight.

The Corolla Cross features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 169 horsepower and a continuously variable automatic transmission with front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option. A hybrid powertrain will join the lineup for the 2023 model.

The all-wheel-drive vehicle delivers a languid 9.2-second zero-to-60-mph time.

While Toyota standardized the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio, the wireless smartphone charging, rear-seat USB charging ports, and a JBL stereo system will be an optional upgrade.

All around, the Corolla Cross is yet another car from Toyota that ticks every box providing optimal comfort and an exquisite exterior, and fuel-efficient while maintaining a reasonable price point. Making it even more exciting by providing a limited warranty that covers three years or 36,000 miles, a powertrain warranty that covers five years or 60,000 miles, and Complimentary maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles.
