We always keep one eye on Holly’s wardrobe, namely because she wears so many pretty, feminine outfits that are both extremely wearable and affordable. That’s all our boxes checked.

As an ambassador for M&S, we often see Holly Willoughby in M&S clothing. The This Morning presenter naturally wears a lot of pieces from the high street brand, often showcasing her favourite new-in pieces on Instagram.

Recently Holly has been posting pictures of some lovely trans-seasonal dresses and outfits.

First up, there’s this stylish end-of-summer outfit consisting of a plisse pleated midi skirt and a faux leather biker jacket worn on top of a flower-printed T-shirt, the perfect way to toughen up a pretty skirt.

The jacket is also available in a faded khaki colourway and the skirt also comes in black. The T-shirt also comes in a range of colours and slogans to suit all moods.

Available in short, regular and long lengths in sizes 6 to 24, this is a dress that will suit anyone and everyone – and as Holly points out, it’s perfect for dressing up or down.

It features a ditsy floral design and tie neck detailing which, along with the slightly puffed long sleeves, gives it a bit of a seventies vibe. Made from sheer georgette fabric with soft pleated detailing in the front for a flowing shape, you can feel totally comfortable in this dress as it comes with a cami slip lining underneath – so there’ll be no accidental see-through moments.

The best bit is this dress will look perfect teamed with strappy flat sandals to see out the rest of summer, then in autumn it will look even more fabulous paired with knee-high brown leather boots to fully embrace its seventies style. In spring and early autumn, we’ll be styling it with white trainers for a more modern twist and then, as the temperature cools down, chuck on a pair of tights and ta da! This dress is 100 per cent trans-seasonal across the whole year. At £39.50, that’s some serious costs-per-wear.
